Estancia El Corcel is located in southwestern Wisconsin on three hundred idyllic acres about one hour north of Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. A state of the art equine facility houses a world class Peruvian Paso horse breeding operation.

Our breeding program was established in 1994 with the purpose of perpetuating the ideal Peruvian Paso horse in all of its extraordinary features. The pursuit of excellence is at the heart of our program.

Our breeding stock was purchased and imported directly from Peru or acquired in the United States. Special attention was paid to the selection of mares, where we looked for the highest possible quality, for specific bloodlines and for an ideal type.

Our horses are trained in the classical Peruvian style with the purpose of maintaining and enhancing their natural gait. They are trained and ridden in inside and outside arenas, and in fields and wood trails . They will excel in trail riding and outdoor recreation activities and perform, as well, as a high quality show horse.

Mr. Marcos Parodi is the manager and has played a key role in the development of the herd and in the establishment of the breeding program. Mr. Parodi has had a lifetime experience as a breeder and trainer of Peruvian horses in Peru and in the United States.

Mr. Wilder Castaneda, a Master Chalan with years of unique experience in the art of training Peruvian Paso Horses is our trainer. Our horses are handled with skill, care and affection to bring about the wonderful features of this very special breed.

We offer stud services, mare leasing and a careful selection of excellent horses for sale.

We are currently accepting outside horses for training by our professional training staff.

We have recently completed a new 14 stall horse barn. This will allow us to increase the number of horses we accept for training and at the same time, provide additional space for our own horses.
